The magical world of the Forest of Arden, where lovers, shepherds, reformed villains, misanthropes, banished lords and even a lioness all cohabit as a perfectly natural society, is one of the Bard's happiest creations.  If we follow Rosalind and Orlando as they progress through its glades, if we follow Touchstone's progression from Court to shepherdess's bower, we can surely sense the liveliness and allure of this marvellous world.
