Years of the Locust
This fine new play centres around the fascinating character of Oscar Wilde during his two year imprisonment for homosexual practices. It introduces imaginatively, but authentically, earlier events and relationships in his life. He was a brilliant writer, wit and aesthete who fell victim to late Victorian social morals and his life and downfall are as dramatic as any fiction.
