Whose Life is it Anyway?
Whose Life is it Anyway? poses the moral question - do we have the right to decide to die if our lives become insufferable?
A young man lies in hospital, totally paralysed and dependent on machines for life, but his request to die meets with opposition from the medical staff and the law. How he resolves his dilemma makes a totally gripping and absorbing play and despite the theme, the play is full of wit and humour. It is a subject very relevant to our times and is rapidly becoming a modern classic.
A Gala Performance will be held on Tuesday 27th January 1987 in the presence of HRH Princess Alexandra, to mark TTC's Diamond Jubilee.
