The Tempest

The Tempest opens in a burst of sound, with a storm on the high seas, and the almost imminent demise of a ship and crew, until miraculously they are shipwrecked onto a mysterious island, with its even more mysterious ruler, Prospero.  The events which follow and which compose the tale are woven together with some of Shakespeare's best ever script. The resultant contrast of characters produces a stimulating and gripping story of love, hate, plot and intrigue, but which does have a happy ending.
