The Snow Queen

Hans Christian Andersen's story was adapted for the stage in 1948 when Surio Magito helped produce the show at London's Old Vic.  The Story-Teller introduces a classical fairytale in the traditional style - it has everything..  a haunted castle, dark forest, princes and princesses, robbers, fights, chases across the snowy field and an evil Queen whose kiss freezes the heart.
