The Revlon Girl

The Revlon Girl

A heart-wrenching story of how lipstick brings hope
-
Production Company:

Set eight months after the death of 116 children in the Aberfan disaster of 1966, The Revlon Girl tells the real-life story of a group of bereaved mothers who met every week, to support each other.

Realising they’d let themselves go but afraid of local gossip, they secretly arrange for a Revlon Rep to give them a talk on beauty tips. Despite their unbearable pain, this seemingly trivial activity opens the way for them to laugh, cry and heal together.
