A Passage to India

Adela Quested, a young English girl, is newly arrived in India to join her fiance, the District Magistrate of Chandrapore.  There she meets the young, attractive Indian Doctor Aziz and agrees to join his picnic party to the Marabar Caves.

In one of the caves something dreadful happens - or does it?  In any case, the doctor finds himself in court on a serious charge and all the forces of race prejudice and feeling are let loose.
