Pal Joey
Book by John O'Hara, Lyrics by Lorenz Hart, Music by Richard Rodgers
For many people, Pay Joey will conjure up memories of the famous film of the fifties starring Rita Hayworth and Frank Sinatra, although it was, in fact, written in the late thirties and considered too shocking at that time. The musical is set in 1930s Chicago, with music by Rogers and Hart, including such favourites as I Could Write a Book and Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered.
