Hollywood comes to Hampton Court in this glamorous and exciting recreation of Tinsel Town in the late 1920s.  It is the advent of talking pictures.  Al Jolson's The Jazz Singer has just electrified the big studios and movie moguls are in a panic to cash in on the 'talkies' boom.  But can their silent stars remain credible in this new medium?

Fresh from a New York vaudeville act comes an enterprising trio of young hopefuls, who see this as their big chance to establish an elocution school to meet the overwhelming demand.
