The Night of the Iguana
The Night of the Iguana is the last of Tennessee Williams' great plays - a worthy successor to The Glass Menagerie, A Streetcar Named Desire and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. The play is set in the summer of 1940, over one steamy day and one stormy night at a hotel on a jungle covered cliff-top overlooking the sea in Mexico. Here, a defrocked priest, a spinster artist and her poet grandfather come seeking sanctuary....
