The Merchant of Venice
The Merchant of Venice is a comedy in five acts by William Shakespeare, written in about 1596–97. After a lapse of two years, TTC reverts to the original object of its predecessor, the Teddington & District Amateur Dramatic Circle, namely of giving educational shows to elementary school children to save them the expense of going to London.
