Glengarry Glen Ross

It's America, the world of real estate sales.  There is a sales content near it's end.  The four salesmen have only several more days to establish themselves on the sales graph, the board.  The top man wins a Cadillac, the second man wins a set of steak knives, the bottom two men get fired.  

In little more than an hour and a half, Mamet creates a chillingly funny indictment of a world in which you are what you sell, where language is your only tool.  With spiralling obscenity and comic bluster he catches the salesman off-guard, afraid and exhausted, each man trying desperately to close that one last deal.
