The Foolishness of God
A production entered into the Twickenham and District Drama Festival
Set in a mission in China during the Civil Wars of 1927. There are forty Chinese children and four desperately maimed Chinese women in the Mission; here, also, are seven Englishwomen of vastly different characters and creeds thrown together owing to the results of war. The railway has been bombed and the only means of transport to safety is a lorry capable of taking seven refugees.
