Since her disappearance several years ago, Emma Cranwell suffers from a damaged memory. There is much she doesn't recognise or understand when brought to her new home by her parents, Max and Laura, who care for her and shower her with such treats as they can muster.

Will a spark of love kindle in the hearts of the newly hired staff, Hardy and Penny? Or is it only ever destined to be a flirtatious affair? Will an air of peace and tranquility finally settle on the Cranwell household following the visit of a stranger?
