The Burning Glass
The Burning Glass is a drama dealing with the social and moral obligations of scientists developing weapons of total destruction. Christopher Terriford is carrying on his father’s work with a meteorological research unit. He comes across a machine that can concentrate the rays of the sun on any part of the earth. What shall he do with this potentially destructive machine, which he calls the Burning Glass? Christopher, in possession of such a powerful machine, is then kidnapped.
