Twelfth Night

-
Production Company:

First performed at the Middle Temple in 1602, Twelfth Night is undoubtedly one of our most loved and familiar romantic comedies. Shipwrecked onto the Illyrian shore and believing her twin brother Sebastian to be dead, Viola disguises herself as a boy and enters the service of Duke Orsino. Impressed by his delicate manner, Orsino employs Viola to carry his love letters to the countess Olivia. Fooled by the disguise, Olivia rejects Orsino and falls in love with Viola. Meanwhile, the mixed bag of misfits at Olivia's court set about persecuting Olivia's pompous and puritanical steward, Malvolio. Sebastian, believing Viola to be dead, appears and joins in the affray.

Glorious comedy, touching romance, joyous songs and it all ends happily (except for Malvolio). What better way to end the holiday season!
