Privates on Parade

A musical tale of soldiers, sequins and satire
-
Production Company:

The boys, the girl and the boys dressed as girls. The ‘Song And Dance Unit South East Asia’ is heading for the jungle, singing songs and dodging bullets in 1948 Malaysia. Based on the author’s own National Service experience, entertaining the troops alongside Kenneth Williams and Stanley Baxter, Privates On Parade pays a nostalgic and wildly camp tribute to the dying days of the British Empire and the swansong of the concert party.

Contains strong language, male nudity and scenes of an adult nature.

An amateur production by arrangement with Samuel French Limited.
