Monkfish stew and the meaning of life. Middle-class follies and delusions brilliantly skewered
-
Production Company:
An earthquake in Haiti kills thousands and leaves two million homeless. Meanwhile six, good-looking, tech-savvy, young professionals sit down to dinner in a leafy London suburb. But as they tuck into their monkfish stew and fret about mortgages and Facebook friends, their veneer of happiness begins to fragment. Will history remember them? Or are they as ordinary and insignificant as the distant earthquake victims? A powerfully funny, black comedy from the award-winning Torben Betts.
An amateur production by special arrangement with Catherine King of Independent Talent Group Ltd
