Production Company:

Dear Brutus is a 1917 fantasy play by J.M. Barrie, depicting alternative realities for its characters and their eventual return to real life. The title is a reference to a line from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar:  'The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars but in ourselves.

First produced at Wyndham's Theatre in 1922, the play was subsequently presented at the Playhouse in 1929 and the Queen's in 1941.  Such a story abounding in richness and opportunity and sheet romantic refreshment could only come from the pen of the creator of Peter Pan.
