Teddington Theatre Club opened it s first night of Zoo and Seven Monologues last night to rave reviews.
"such good acting. all the emotions "
"The monologues all really made me laugh a lot"
"What a comeback! well done TTC"
"Brilliant plays, brilliantly performed"
Lottie Walker, TTC Artistic Director said "It was wonderful to open our doors to an audience again after 16 long months. We deliberately chose "Zoo" and the monologues as our reopening production as not only could they all be rehearsed in a socially distanced manner and online if necessary but the subject matter was perfect. The monologues are laugh out loud funny and "Zoo" is a funny and poignant look at long distance friendship and overcoming adversity - and our own demons. After the year we've just experienced it is something we can all relate to. The first night audience seemed to agree; There was a real buzz about the building and it was an absolute joy to hear the audience laughing out loud through their masks and to receive such warm and enthusiastic (in fact tumultous) applause at the end of the evening. It's good to be back!"
