The Recruiting Officer - Play in a Week

Your Theatre Needs You Image

Starting the first rehearsal, and production meeting, on Saturday 18th September with curtain up at 7.45pm on Saturday 25th September, this promises to be a action-packed week of energy, fun and creativity.
Why not join us in this epic club endeavour!

Not a Member - you can still join us!

We’ll be performing George Farquhar’s 1706 play ‘The Recruiting Officer’ a Restoration Comedy, an apt choice as our Theatre reopens. The play has lots of offer on stage with physical comedy, rollicking farce and frantic plot.

We are not just looking for the 27 Players but the entire crew - from set, costumes, musicians, lighting to those willing to man the bar, take show notes and make some tea. This is also a great opportunity to try something new - if you fancy fly training or knowing how to rig lights - let us know.

You do not have to be available all week there for things to do on all days for anyone who can join us.

Everyone is welcome to pitch-in to this club production.

Hear from the Director - Matt Beresford's call to arms - for people to take part.
