Sunday 9 January: midday to 1.30pm

We're auditioning for the role of John Webster in Shakespeare in Love, playing from 15 - 19 March. Webster is a boy in Elizabethan London in the 1590s and hangs out around the playhouse, desperate for a part in Will Shakespeare's latest play, Romeo and Juliet.

He's a grubby little street urchin, cheeky and sharp-witted.  He's  keeping his eye on someone he's suspicious of, he knows everything that's going on.  We're looking for a young actor, male or female  and will consider both  young adults who can play younger and teenage actors (minimum age 13).

PARENTS PLEASE NOTE  you will need to chaperone your own child for all performances if they are aged16 or under.  Please register your interest in auditioning by emailing our Production Manager, Lottie Walker at  and we will send you a short extract from the play to look over in advance of the audition.
