A group of passengers are stranded at a remote Cornish railway station overnight. Despite the stationmaster's spooky stories of a ghost train, they decide to stay the night in the waiting room. Soon however they regret their decision as ghostly and not so ghostly apparitions materialise.

First staged a hundred years ago, this 1920s classic comedy thriller is full of suspense, supernatural apparitions, and all things that go bump in the night, including the impending appearance of the ghost train itself.

“The greatest stage ghost story of all time” The Guardian

Play readings are not just for prospective actors, but for anyone who would like to join in reading the play – or just listen to it being read.  The readings are informal social occasions when the bar is open - we enjoy meeting new people and welcoming them to our club.  There is no obligation to audition for the play or even to read – and there’s no need to book, just turn up!
